The Right Way to Shave Your Face

Many people take shaving for granted. They do it without thinking even though there is a right way and a wrong way. Here are some tips to make sure you are shaving the right way. Before starting to shave, the best thing to do is to prepare your skin. Run the water on your tap until it is a comfortable warm temperature.

It does not have to be too hot, but just comfortable to the touch. Once it is ready, soak each part of your face that you intend to shave. Do this several times to make sure you have the entire area covered and moist. Dry your hands when you are finished.

Take a palm full of shaving cream or adequate amount of shaving gel in one of your hands. Spread it evenly on the area of your face that you intend to shave, preferably in an upward against the grain motion. To cover your upper lip, you may close your mouth tightly and simply give the area a good swipe with your full hand. Wash and dry your hands.

Begin shaving by selecting your razor and running it under the warm water. Start with one of your cheeks, shaving in a downward motion with the grain of your hair. You can apply a firm amount of pressure, but there is no need to apply too much pressure to the razor on your skin. After each full swipe, rinse the razor blade under the warm water.

When you have finished with one cheek, make sure that you cover all the area under the ear of the same cheek. Next, move on to the other side of your face and repeat the process.

The only remaining areas are the chin and the upper lip. Start with the lower lip of the chin and work your way down with medium-pressure strokes until you get to the bottom of your chin. This is an area where you need to be extra careful, because there are dips in the skin around the base of the chin. You may stretch your skin here to get the closest shave, but be careful not to cut yourself. Once you are done with this area, carefully shave the upper lip area and rinse your razor.

Dry your razor blade and rinse off all of the remaining shaving cream residue from your face. Make sure to check for any remaining hairs around your jaw line, lower chin, and around your ears. Now is your chance to clean up any missed spots. Don’t forget to apply a light amount of aftershave when you are done.

How to Style a Mohawk Hairstyle – Nine Easy to Follow Steps

Over the decades, the Mohawk has transcended across different genres of fashion. Having the proper cut is needed, the spiking and styling are the two big ingredients for bringing that Mohawk to life. Below, we are going to tell you how to style a Mohawk so that you can look better.

Step one: Wet your hair and then towel dry it to get rid of that extra water.

Step two: Use a comb and part the hair that you will be using in the Mohawk. Make sure you thoroughly comb it so that you will be able to get rid of any tangles.

Step three: Take the pomade or sculpting wax and apply it to the hair. There are many products out there that will assist you with this step.

Step four: Get a big section of your hair and comb it in the air. During this time, make sure you keep holding it with your other hand, this way it will stay up like a Mohawk is supposed to.

Step five: With extra hold hairspray, spray the section of your hair heavily. Make sure you spray it on all sides.

Step six: Take the blow dryer and blow dry the hair while you are holding it up with your other hand.

Step seven: Get the hair iron and heat it at the highest level. Clamp the Mohawk section of the hair with the flat iron and move it in the upward position starting at the scalp and moving to the tip. As the hot iron comes in contact with those styling products, there will be some sizzling.

Step eight: Continue ironing and spraying until the hair stands on its own.

Step nine: For the rest of the hair sections, repeat these steps until you have a complete Mohawk.

How to get a Mohawk is so easy that it can be done in nine easy steps.
