I have a saying, “If it’s not a hole in the boat, don’t worry about it.” As we grow up, we are taught that work and play are two different things. We work Monday through Friday and play on Saturday and Sunday. Wrong. You can combine work and play. The old idea of working hard, day in and day out year after year, at a job you don’t really like, exchanging time for money, and deferring life until later ….. is like saving sex for old age. Your goal is to live life each and every day, to have the freedom to do what you want to do when you want to do it. What’s important in life? In our modern world it is easy to be distracted from what is truly important. We start worrying about things we have no control over, like the price of gas at the pumps, or what is happening in other places half-way around the world. Or …

Trying to make a story short.
Me, 18th century re-enacting, stormy event, lots of rain.
We ended up in a shot for a movie/documentary. They had us rowing up and down the coast of long Island sound in a whale boat. Each pass, the water rose in the boat. After about 15 takes we get to shore, and found out they never put the bung cork in the whale boat.
